Trapped in a narrow cave 45 cm in diameter.
For 27 hours, had to stay in the same position.
Not even a chance to move.
A feeling of despair with all kinds of pressure, hope you will never experience.
November 24, 2009.
26-year-old explorer, John.
With his younger brother Josh and a few friends.
Decided to explore Nutty Putty Cave.
The cave is located near Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
The cave was first discovered by explorers in 1960.
The space inside the cave is extremely narrow.
The path is winding and winding.
Due to the large number of explorers.
Between 1999 and 2004, there were many accidents here.
So the government ordered the cave to be closed for a long time.
But many explorers spoke out against it.
There was no other way, the cave was reopened in 2009.
However, there are certain conditions when entering the cave.
You must notify in advance, go in groups of no less than two people.
And there must be a professional guide.
John and the others have obtained an exploration permit.
After arriving, they were eager to enter the cave.
After walking a few dozen meters from the entrance.
They found the inside very spacious.
There were almost no obstacles.
Most visitors came here to take a few photos and then turn back.
Because the deeper they went, the more dangerous it was.
That area was called the Birth Tunnel.
This tunnel was very narrow and steep.
You could not use your hands and feet to push, but could only rely on your joints to crawl forward.
It was said that as long as you passed the narrowest area,
there would be space at the end of the tunnel to turn around.
It was like crawling out of the mother's birth canal.
It will feel like being reborn.
This area is called the Birth Tunnel.
John himself is a person who likes challenges.
He is confident and takes the lead.
Let his friends follow.
After crawling up a slope.
It is a very large V-shaped section.
With many rocks rising and falling.
They have to twist their bodies in many directions.

Go first with the shoulders, then the hips,
and finally twist their legs step by step.
Only people with small and flexible stature can pass through. John tried his best, and finally passed through.
But the space to turn around in front was too small.
With his large stature, John could not turn around.
He could only continue to crawl forward.
But the cave map only showed this far.
No one knew what lay ahead.
John had to struggle mentally.
But in the end, he still decided to continue exploring.
At this time, he could not have imagined that.
This was the worst decision of his life.
After about an hour,
John finally reached the edge of a cliff.
Below was a deep slope,
He kept calm.
He believed that the front would be wider.
Then he used his hands to move, trying to slide down.
He put his head first and continued to slide down.
But because the slope was too steep, he lost control and slid down.
At this point,
