Islam Makhachev vs Ian Garry at UFC 330 — Craig Jones breaks down the takedown problem, and the ONE counter that gives Ian Machado Garry a real chance.

Islam Makhachev's elbow-deep single leg is the most dangerous entry in MMA. In this fight breakdown, Craig Jones (second-best grappler in the world) maps out how Islam finishes the club-and-step takedown, why the BJ Penn "foot inside" counter is the only thing that reliably kills it, and what Ian Garry's height and range actually change about the exchange. Plus: Conor McGregor's pummel counter vs Khabib Nurmagomedov, and the Dustin Poirier ankle adjustment Islam might need if Garry hangs the butterfly hook.
