My haunting new song is "Heard You in the Wind". I feel like it's some kind of of a ghost story about missing someone, thinking you see them in the distance or hear them calling your name in a crowd. Like they’re haunting you. Think sunsets and liminal spaces like the cover art. It was produced by Ches, a producer from Chicago who often works in Alternative, Pop, and RnB sounds. I'm loving this one and super excited for you to hear it
lyrics
Where’d you go? Now I miss you
I’m waking up in dark with a sun that’s rising soon
I know you’re not around here anymore
But I wish I could see you walk in through my bedroom door
I know you are a real tough singer with that heart on your sleeve
I know that real love hurts and that you’re gonna leave

I heard you in the wind. I swear it’s true
I heard you in the wind. I care for you
I heard you in the river rocks, parking lots on evenings when it’s far too hot
I heard you in the wind

Where’d you go, now I miss you
I’m searching through the pawn shops like we used to do
I’m trying on the fake fur coat with the crow feathers
Flipping through all these old vinyl records

You didn’t have to ghost me like you did
You haunt me like a milk carton kid
I’m praying that by some miracle I’ll run into your here
By these boxes of lonely clothes

And I heard you in the wind. I swear it’s true
I heard you in the wind. I care for you
I heard you in the river rocks, parking lots on evenings when it’s far too hot
I heard you in the wind

I heard you in the wind. I swear it’s you
I heard you in the wind. I care it’s true
I heard you in the river rocks, parking lots on evenings when it’s freaking hot
I heard you in the wind
