A lost homeland. An ancient bond. A sky that still remembers.

“Where the Sky Remembers Us” is an original Elven fantasy song performed by Zara, with lyrics composed in Neo-Quenya, based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s Quenya language.

Zara and her dragon journey back toward the world they once knew. Among forgotten ruins, beneath the stars, and above the mountains, the song follows their memories of home—and the comfort of finding each other when that home is no longer there.

“Menel enyalë ve.”
“The sky remembers us.”

At its heart, this is a song about belonging: we cannot always return to the world we remember, but we can carry something of home with us.

If this journey moved you, tell us what stayed with you most—the song, the journey, or the bond between Zara and her dragon.

ABOUT THE LANGUAGE
These lyrics are a modern Neo-Quenya composition using Tolkien’s language and reconstructed grammatical forms—not a text written by Tolkien or an official Tolkien adaptation.
