You found the product. You negotiated the price. Everything looks perfect.

Then your Chinese supplier sends the final message:

“Please pay in RMB.” 😅

That is where understanding China’s payment ecosystem becomes important.

Extent Exchange assists verified international clients with eligible USDT → RMB settlements for legitimate payments to suppliers, merchants, and business partners in China.

Depending on the recipient and transaction requirements, RMB settlement channels may include:

• Alipay RMB
• WeChat Pay RMB
• Chinese bank transfers
• Bank TT
• Payments to Chinese suppliers

What does USDT → RMB mean?

USDT → RMB settlement means using USDT as the settlement side while the approved recipient receives the agreed amount in Chinese yuan (RMB) through an available Chinese payment channel.

A transaction may look like:

USDT → RMB → Alipay
USDT → RMB → WeChat Pay
USDT → RMB → Chinese Bank Account

Why do Chinese suppliers ask for Alipay or WeChat Pay?

Alipay and WeChat Pay are widely used payment platforms in China. Some suppliers, sellers, and business partners may prefer receiving RMB through one of these platforms instead of an international bank transfer.

Other companies, factories, or wholesalers may prefer a direct Chinese bank transfer or Bank TT.

So when your supplier says:

“Alipay please.”

You don't need to reply:

“Bro… can you take something else?” 😂

The first step is simply to confirm the recipient's requested payment method and correct details.

Which method is best for paying China?

There is no universal answer.

The appropriate option depends on:

• What the supplier accepts
• Transaction amount
• Recipient information
• Purpose of payment
• Documentation requirements
• Current payment-channel availability
