A propos de PLEYAD
Since 2003, Plëyad have explored a musical kaleidoscope tinged with pop, rock and electro-ethnic music with lyrics in both English and French. They enthusiastically use a great diversity of sound effects, reflecting musical influences ranging from My Bloody Valentine and dEUS to Radiohead and Air. A brief impression of the band’s musical abilities can be acquired by their four track EP. The four songs on this disc are the first representations of Plëyad’s unique sound, which is sometimes melancholic, often dynamic and always very accessible. On stage the band offers a universe all their own, powerful and enriched with musical experiments. The playlist and the songs are adapted to the scene(of action), to create intimate atmospheres or energetic electro-pop-rock shows when demanded. Crowds from popular concert-rooms in Paris, important venues in Britain, and festivals like the VIEILLES CHARRUES (one of France’s biggest pop-rock festivals, hosting over 40,000 visitors in three days) or La FETE DE L'HUMANITE can affirm. The album will be ready for November 2007.

Depuis 2003, PLEYAD explore un kaleidoscope musical teinte de pop, de rock et de musique electro-ethnique. Les quatre musiciens vous invitent plonger sur scene dans un univers decale, puissant et riche d experimentations musicales. Depuis Carhaix et les VIEILLES CHARRUESen 2004, PLEYAD s est produit sur plusieurs grandes scenes et festivals (l Antipode, l Omnibus, etc) ainsi qu a Paris (La Scene avec SOLAS en janvier 2005, La COMEDIA en janvier 2006, LA FETE DE L HUMANITE). PLEYAD A REMPORTE LE LABEL MOZAIC EN JUIN 2006. Ce melange de volutes electro et de nappes electrisantes fait l unanimite . Trans legere aux accents popnoise energie rock fort savamment distillee .
