Chroma Key is used in film and cinema productions as a tool to mix two or more images together and in digital photography to cut and paste a subject onto a background. Students studying multilayering and advanced editing techniques at Manchester NTI are finding this technology invaluable in the compositing and post-production processes. They are using the Chroma Key technology in conjunction with software such as Adobe After Effects or Autodesk Combustion.
