ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: Heavy rains have caused severe flooding across western Norway, cutting off villages and leaving residents stranded.
The villages of Flam, Voss and Odda have been the worst hit, with roads closed and buildings damaged.
In Flam, two rescue helicopters had to be called in on Wednesday (October 29) to help carry 22 stranded people to safety.
Overnight, five houses and a bridge were destroyed by the force of the water in Odda in Hordaland county, as rivers burst their banks.
The Norwegian authorities have warned people to stay off the roads and keep away from exposed areas.
