Glamour magazine continued its tradition of celebrating women during its annual Women of the Year Awards ceremony in New York City.
Each year the list includes politicians, philanthropists, celebrities and other leaders who make the world a better place.
This year Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o made the cut and was modest about the recognition.
