More and more Chechens are fleeing their homeland, saying they fear persecution by Russian agents. Many have ended up in Western Europe, and especially France. But they are not entirely safe, even in exile. A number of former Chechen officials have been attacked.
One recent case involves Said-Emin Ibragimov, who now lives in Strasbourg.
