00:05Ferb! I know what we're gonna do today! First, we gotta draw up some plans.
00:09Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today!
00:11Hey Ferb, you got the blueprints? Excellent!
00:14Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Phineas and Ferb Episodes.
00:23Ah, Penny the Platypus, what a surprise!
00:26For this list, we're taking a look at the funniest, most heartfelt, and most epic episodes
00:32that have made this Disney Channel Original Series one of the best cartoons of the past decade.
00:38Hi Meep, I'm Phineas and this is Ferb.
00:41Keep in mind we've excluded Across the Second Dimension because that's technically a TV movie.
00:47This is gonna be the best day ever!
00:49We consider every day a plus to spend it with the cut of brush.
00:54Number 10, Traffic Cam Caper
00:57There it is! The elevator to the moon! Ha!
01:01Upon learning about a surveillance camera across the street,
01:05Candace obtains the evidence she needs to finally bust her brothers Phineas and Ferb.
01:10Can it be actual proof? Everything they've done over the summer?
01:15Oh, Perry, it's so beautiful!
01:19What she doesn't realize is that the camera has also captured Perry the Platypus' double life as a secret agent.
01:26I will remember this night always!
01:29Just think, on this very computer are the deliciously incriminating images from that CD I borrowed that will finally bust
01:38my brothers!
01:40A traffic cam caper ensues as Perry retrieves the camera's disc with help from Norm,
01:45and Candace tries to snatch it back with help from her ceaselessly considerate brothers.
01:50When at a crossroads, however, Candace realizes that blood is thicker than busting,
01:56thereby demonstrating this series' underlying theme of family.
02:03But Candace, the disc! You didn't save it!
02:07What? And let you fall?
02:09Okay, Isabella, say ah!
02:12Oh, good! The swelling has gone down dramatically!
02:15Number 9. I scream, you scream.
02:17Can you give me a hand in packing this stuff, Candace?
02:20I'm not gonna help you, but as soon as I figure out what you're up to, I'm calling Mom!
02:24Okay!
02:24Phineas and Ferb largely centers on two worlds that are constantly colliding without even knowing it.
02:31I'm here to pick up an order for Doofenshmirtz.
02:34Oh, yes. Your daddy just called.
02:36Hey, how's it going?
02:40I scream, you scream is one of the earliest examples of the show's ability to juggle different stories and brilliantly
02:46bring them together.
02:47It's evil, right?
02:49Oh, yes! Yes, it is!
02:51It's nice to see you taking an interest in the family business.
02:54As Ferb first notices Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, Vanessa notices how oblivious her mother is to her dad's evil exploits.
03:02Teenagers.
03:03Oh, what are we making this week?
03:05She becomes determined to bust her father, while Candace tries to bust the boys, who are making a giant sundae.
03:12It amounts to a great payoff that will leave you screaming with laughter.
03:22Hey, how's it going?
03:24Hey, Ferb! Snap out of it! What happened back there?
03:28I was weak.
03:30Number 8. The Chronicles of Meep and Meepless in Seattle.
03:34Meep!
03:35What's your name?
03:36Meep!
03:37This pair of episodes stars a wide-eyed alien known as Meep, who's as adorable as he is deadly.
03:44Vanessa and Ferb have been abducted by an intergalactic criminal!
03:48Meep!
03:51Ingenious running gags carry over between both installments, involving a mustached baddie named Mitch, a balloon named, well, Balloony, and
04:00trailers for future adventures the creators have no intention of making.
04:07Aren't you a little young to save the universe?
04:09Yes. Yes, I am.
04:14I want your hat on my desk!
04:16Oh, and for all the shippers out there, yes, these episodes confirm that Phineas thinks Isabella is incredibly cute, although
04:23he still doesn't fully comprehend his true feelings for her.
04:26It's a scientific fact! I had to put an 8,000 ohm resistor on the Q-tractor just to keep
04:31you from burning it out!
04:35Now, can we please get a Meep me in St. Louis already?
04:39It's Meep!
04:40Meep!
04:41What's wrong?
04:42Meep!
04:43Wow!
04:44Cool ship!
04:45Number 7, Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo.
04:49Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today. Or I should say, I know what we're gonna do 20 years
04:54from today.
04:55This inventive episode offers a glimpse of what several characters will be like in 20 years.
05:01Although our title characters' fates remain somewhat clouded in mystery.
05:05Mom, you're so...
05:06Don't say it!
05:09You don't have to say that word.
05:12I mean it!
05:15Mom, you're so old!
05:17Reminiscent of Back to the Future Part 2, the gang travels forward in time where history is repeating itself.
05:24Phineas, we're from the future. Two alternative futures.
05:27One that's good, and one that's terrible.
05:29Someone should really fix that.
05:31We did!
05:31So the bad future no longer exists?
05:34Right.
05:34Well if it doesn't exist, shouldn't the Candace from the bad future cease to exist too?
05:39Oh darn.
05:40When future Candace uses their time machine to alter the past though, she finds that a world deprived of her
05:46brother's creative minds is a bleak existence.
05:50Phineas, I'm a fully grown woman and I didn't understand any of that.
05:52Just trust me. Come on.
05:54Full of unexpected turns, Quantum Boogaloo takes the audience by surprise with equally clever callbacks and foreshadowing.
06:02Thanks guys. Have a good future.
06:04I like that kid.
06:06I like the kid standing next to him.
06:09Don't you get tired of this?
06:11What do you mean?
06:12Number 6. Phineas and Ferb get busted.
06:14Doesn't it ever get, I don't know, boring?
06:18Most Phineas and Ferb episodes follow a formula.
06:20I always come so close to busting Phineas and Ferb but it ends up the same way every single time.
06:25I look and see there's a massive thing Phineas and Ferb built right in front of me but every time
06:29you look you always say.
06:31I see it.
06:33There it is. I see it.
06:35This one flips that formula upside down as Candace succeeds in busting her brothers and they're shipped off to reform
06:42school.
06:42Bye boys. See you at the end of summer.
06:45Yes. I actually busted Phineas and Ferb.
06:50This is the happiest moment of my life.
06:52Granted the final outcome is kind of a cop out, resetting everything back to normal.
06:57As far as what if episodes go though, Phineas and Ferb get busted still offer some of the show's funniest
07:03dialogue.
07:04Most moving character moments and even a twist on top of another twist that provides some unexpected development for the
07:12Flynn Fletcher family's most silent member.
07:14Agent P, your cover's been blown. We're going to have to relocate.
07:20Oh, hey Perry. What's wrong boy? You sounded like you were having a bad dream.
07:24Number 5. Roller Coaster the Musical.
07:27One of the best times we ever had was when we built that roller coaster.
07:31We should do it again, but this time as a musical.
07:35Where Phineas and Ferb typically works one or two infectiously catchy songs into each episode,
07:41Roller Coaster the Musical goes all out with the essence of a Broadway show.
07:47It's a girl we're down when I get mom to see.
07:51It's ridiculous monstrosity.
07:55You'll never get away with this again.
07:58In your G-O-I-N-G-D-O-W-N.
08:02Remaking the pilot's events, this episode takes a familiar idea and gives it a fresh coat of paint with spontaneous
08:09singing.
08:09The playlist covers a variety of diverse musical styles, from doo-wop to rock and roll.
08:15More screwing on the interstate, with peanut butter and butter snakes.
08:21Play the way, move over, look out, bud.
08:26Here comes the mud.
08:29Then as a grand finale, we get a number choreographed by Kenny Ortega of High School Musical.
08:36What else can be said except carpe diem?
08:39And you don't have to build a roller coaster.
08:42Just find your own way to make the most of these two days of summer.
09:00Given all the other Star Wars parodies we've gotten over the years,
09:03you'd think there'd be nothing new for Phineas and Ferb to bring to the table.
09:20The Force turned out to be strong with this non-canon special, however, proving that both these franchises have plenty
09:27of life left in them.
09:28This is why I joined the Empire in the first place.
09:31I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself.
09:33I told you to go before the raid.
09:35That is not what I meant.
09:36Aside from its countless laughs, the episode also incorporates a lot of excitement and heart, being a well-constructed story
09:44above all else.
09:45How do you like that, nor my beautiful invention floating out here in space, and do you think I get
09:50any credit for it?
09:50Your invention, sir?
09:52Well, yeah, I designed it to be a nutcracker. Here, look. Look at this.
09:56On top of that, it's notably the only time Phineas and Candace reference their biological father.
10:02Hey, wait a minute. Where is this guy hugging us?
10:04Oh, this is Ferb. He's our stepbrother.
10:06Mom remarried?
10:07What happened to Dad?
10:08A funny story, actually. He...
10:12Number three. Dude, we're getting the band back together.
10:16June 15th. It's your wedding anniversary.
10:18Oh, it counts! Wait, wait! I can fix this!
10:20In a refreshing change of pace, Phineas, Ferb, and Candace join forces to reunite the band Love Handle for their
10:28parents' anniversary.
10:30I've never so much as held your mother's hand, but that night, I made my move.
10:35Well, don't just stand there, man. Kiss her!
10:41Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz puts all his evil schemes on hold to throw his daughter a Sweet Sixteen party with unsuccessful results.
10:49Happy Sweet Sixteen birthday, my little Vanessa!
10:52Oh, we can't again!
10:53The episode naturally includes great jokes and memorable songs, most notably the Emmy-nominated I Ain't Got Rhythm.
11:00Ain't got rhythm. No, I ain't got rhythm. Said I ain't got rhythm. I ain't got rhythm.
11:09But it's the explosively touching final act that really distinguishes this particular outing, marking a significant turning point at which
11:17Phineas and Ferb went from being a funny cartoon to something truly special.
11:22Prepare for live feed to screen, and what to source?
11:26I put up barriers to shield my emotions. A wall that you could never break apart.
11:38Number 2. Phineas and Ferb, Mission Marvel.
11:42That's it for you, creep. Ooh, ooh! Can I web them up?
11:45After Disney bought Marvel, we all had one looming question on our minds.
11:49What do I do? I just stick out my hand, right?
11:51When are Phineas and Ferb gonna do a crossover with the Avengers?
11:56Not them.
11:57Okay, this is actually a pretty bizarre combination.
11:59Wait, that's not nice. I thought we were buds. We were amigos. We had a song and everything.
12:05Then again, Phineas and Ferb is kind of a random assortment of ideas that oddly work together.
12:10The same can be said about Mission Marvel.
12:13Being a hero isn't the armor you wear, but the metal in your spirit and the steel in your resolve.
12:18Man, that was eloquent.
12:19The endlessly witty script both pokes fun at superheroes,
12:25while also lovingly paying homage to them.
12:28Complete with smart jokes, well choreographed action, and a Stan Lee cameo to boot.
12:34The usual?
12:35Yep, same old, same old.
12:38Before we get to our top pick, here are some honorable mentions.
12:44Cheese from benevolent somewhere.
12:44Lots at me!
12:46Lots at me!
12:51Lots at me!
12:55It's not even.
13:00New Year's is a lot of noise, and harbor day's a pest.
13:03Halloween's a horror, but I guess I must confess that I really don't hate Christmas!
13:07That's three, two and a half, two and a quarter, is that it?
13:14Is that, you're not going to do anything?
13:16You're just going to stand there like a dead fish?
13:17I'm giving you a chance to do something here.
13:20So it is war then.
13:21Bring it on, speckies.
13:23We're going to go all Hyborian age on you.
13:25Number one, Phineas and Ferb, summer belongs to you.
13:29Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.
13:32And Ferb and I are going to make it even longer.
13:35So you built the Statue of Liberty?
13:37No.
13:38Oh, wow, that is weird.
13:40Behold, the amazing Sunbeater 3000.
13:45Summer belongs to you finds Phineas and Ferb taking on their greatest endeavor ever in a one-day trip around
13:51the world.
13:52What is going on here?
13:53We're flying around the world to make the longest, funnest day of summer ever.
13:57Every character is given a moment to shine.
14:00The songs are instant classics and the story's intense stakes will leave you at the edge of your seat.
14:06We didn't calculate for the weight of an extra body.
14:08Will this affect our arrival in Paris?
14:10Hmm, let me let you know in about two seconds.
14:14Candace?
14:15Yeah?
14:15It is going to affect our arrival in Paris.
14:19Ah!
14:21The reason this stands out as Phineas and Ferb's finest hour, however, is because of how wonderfully it epitomizes the
14:28show's moral of never letting summer go to waste.
14:31Whatever you want to do, you make the rules.
14:34You've got the tools to see it through.
14:37Sunbeater belongs to you.
14:39It's a unique lesson for kids, not to mention a meaningful one.
14:43Wow!
14:44Catch up!
14:44We did it!
14:45Oh my gosh, they're so great!
14:48Ha ha!
14:49You guys are amazing!
14:51Do you agree with our list?
14:53Yeah, I hated cleaning that thing anyway.
14:56What's your favorite Phineas and Ferb episode?
