An amusing video has emerged of a shark appearing to get its revenge on a fisherman by slapping him in the groin.
The 6ft 5in blacktip shark was landed by a fishing team on the beach in Volusia County, Florida on Saturday night.
"When I got him on the beach he flipped his tail and hit me right in the groin with his tail. I laughed but it hurt really bad" the fisherman later wrote online.
The group state that they "promote conservation and prefer to catch and release but occasionally catch and eat some species that are legal to harvest".
