PAS central committee member Khalid Samad revealed today that the Kelantan government's 'invitation' for Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin to 'debate' PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu was "only a preliminary enquiry".
Reading out the email invitation sent to Khairy at a press conference at the PAS headquarters today, Khalid said that it is apparent that the former was just "seeking the limelight" by crowing about the matter.
The Kelantan government representative Saifuddin Ibrahim's email says, a "casual dialogue" is "proposed to take place at the end of September, at 9pm, at Balai Islam, Kota Bharu ... if you agree we will send a formal invitation and working paper.
