It had been reported sometime back that Prakash Jha's Gangaajal 2, which is the sequel to Ajay Devgn starrer Gangaajal, would have a female protagonist and buzz has it that Jha has approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the role. It is being said that apart from Jha, Sujoy Ghosh also wants her to play a cop in his Durga Rani Singh, though recently; Ghosh had taken to Twitter to rubbish reports about making a film on a female cop. Guess time will tell what the truth is, eh? Meanwhile, Aishwarya is gearing up to make her comeback to acting with Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa, which also stars Irrfan Khan.
