Her visit to the police station, accompanied by her grandfather, was also intended to make a point about corruption in India — implying that their accusations would only be taken seriously if they came with a bribe.Manvi’s father has now reportedly been arrested and some other relatives remain under suspicion. As for the little girl, she left the station with her piggy bank and a promise from police to investigate further.
