The Foton Tornados woke up just in the nick of time to nip Maine ‘n Tail Lady Stallions via 4 sets 24-26, 25-19, 25-21, and 25-15. The Lady Stallions led by the sterling attacks streak of Danika Gendrauli outraced the Tornados in the first set but the Tornados amassed enough energy to regain composure in the remaining sets to get the victory. Dzi Gervacio, Ivy Remulla, Patty Orendain, and Nicole Tiamzon had a concerted effort to nail those sharp kills to put the game away. (Val Marvin G. Macanas)
