Raised on the indie scene of Minneapolis, MN, Brooklyn-based Nina Yasmineh moved to New York City to attend NYU and upon graduating in 2013, she wrote, recorded and produced her first EP "Seven Years". This acclaimed debut effort was followed by her "Finest Hour" EP and "Dark Heart" EP in 2014, all garnering praise from a range of blogs and music publications. She performs at well-known NYC venues like Pianos and Rockwood Music Hall and has nurtured an adoring local following. Nina's self-produced latest single "Pirates" is whimsical and haunting. Born out of run-ins with fly-by-night lovers, it's a synth pop gem featuring the artist's signature mystical charm and honest introspection.
