PRESENTED BY CRISTINA CONTELL
ENGLISH //
Gema and Mario are two artists who began their musical career separately. She has always composed their songs in English influenced by soul, blues, folk... while Mario has always played songs that he wrote himself in Spanish with hints of classic folk. In 2014, Gema Elagua and Sebastian de Morra decided to work together, each maintaining their own songs while accompanying the other with vocals, percussion and guitars. The merger went so well that they soon began writing together, becoming “Sebastian y Elagua”. This duo combines influences from blues, folk, soul, funky jazz and even hip hop, Gema and Mario experiment with sounds betting on an open genre whose essence lies in the combination of the two artists.
