According to Buzzfeed News on Thursday, five months before a 19 year-old man named Nikolas Cruz killed seventeen people and wounded at least fourteen others at a highschool in Parkland, Florida, the FBI had been aware of a comment by Cruz posted on YouTube saying, "I'm going to be a professional school shooter." On Thursday, authorities charged Cruz with 17 counts of premeditated murder. He is currently being held at the Broward County Jail in Fort Lauderdale.
