The Supreme Court has observed that live streaming of proceedings could be done for constitutional matters.The court is hearing a petition that sought for live streaming of judicial proceedings.A Bench headed by Chief Justice of India, Dipak Misra said that live streaming of SC proceedings could be done for constitutional matters and social matters with constitutional importance.

రాజ్యాంగపరమైన కేసుల్లో మాత్రమే కోర్టులో జరిగే వాదనలను ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రసారం చేసేందుకు సుప్రీంకోర్టు అంగీకారం తెలిపింది. సుప్రీం కోర్టులో జరిగే వాదనలను ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రసారం చేయాలన్న పిటిషన్ను ధర్మాసనం విచారణకు స్వీకరించింది. ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి జస్టిస్ దీపక్ మిశ్రా నేతృత్వంలో ధర్మాసం ఈ పిటిషన్ను విచారణ చేసింది. రాజ్యాంగపరమైన కేసులు, రాజ్యాంగ ప్రాముఖ్యత కలిగిన సామాజిక అంశాల కేసులను మాత్రమే ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రసారం చేసేందుకు అంగీకారం తెలిపింది. ఆగష్టు 17కు కేసును వాయిదా వేసింది.
