Assam NRC- A Real Issue or Much Ado About Nothing - The Quint

After 5 years, Rs 1,200 crore and efforts of nearly 62,000 government officials, the final NRC list has 19,06,657 names on it. That is less than 6 percent of Assam's population. In other words, the NRC exercise was much ado about nothing.
