00:33women should feel beautiful just as they are but somehow this whole no makeup

00:41selfie thing just kind of feels like we're still feeding the beauty beast or

00:46just sort of changing up the diet. By the time my girls are old enough to watch

00:52this, if they ever watch any of my videos, I really have no idea how many times

00:58they will have been told they're beautiful without makeup. It's the first

01:05thing out of everyone's mouth when they first meet them at two and four. Like

01:12they've been told countless times that the most important thing they can be is

01:18pretty and it pisses me off because you know there there's so much more than

01:25pretty. I was reading a blog that said you know people need to stop complaining

01:32about no makeup selfies because women are beautiful no matter what and I

01:37thought really? Like so I'm not supposed to have an opinion but I'm supposed to

01:43focus on being beautiful. Like really? No. Just no. Makeup, no makeup, screw it. Like I

01:53don't actually have to care about being beautiful at all. I know my girls are

01:58gonna want to feel pretty but I'm really gonna try to make sure that if beautiful

02:05is on the list of things they aspire to be it's at the bottom and to every woman

02:12out there who might be watching this I know without knowing you that you are so

02:18many things that are way more important and way more interesting than how
