The Cederberg Municipality in the Western Cape is being described as rotten to the core. Whistleblowers claim the current administrators have looted nearly R800,000 allocated for COVID-19 relief efforts. The municipality itself also wants answers from a former councilor over almost R1 million in wasteful expenditure.
