Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman laid out the roadmap for the coming year in Budget 2021 presentation in Parliament on February 1. She announced the Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess which will be levied on a range of products from imported alcoholic beverages to imported cotton making these more expensive in the coming months.
