Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said that the Armed Forces of the Philippines might as well be removed from the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) after senators recommended to fire Lieutenant General Antonio Parlade as the task force's spokesman.
