Dewan Rakyat Speaker Azhar Azizan Harun and Senate President Rais Yatim said today that some time will be needed to prepare for a hybrid Parliament sitting.
This comes after the Yang di-Pertuan Agong decreed last week that Parliament should convene as soon as possible.
In a joint statement, Azhar and Rais proposed that a hybrid Parliament session be held in late August or the first week of September at the latest.
