The Coronavirus crisis has been particularly catastrophic for women’s health around the world. Right from a cut off from sexual and reproductive health services to a rise in maternal and neonatal mortality, women's health issues have only seen a rise. Infact, sanitation related diseases and complications have increased to an all-time high, given that economically weak women are not supported as much and the production of sanitary napkins has been constrained. It is time that we understand the unintended consequences of the global lockdown on women’s health in general.
