MP Ong Kian Ming tests positive for Covid 19, was in Parliament on Monday

Bangi MP Ong Kian Ming, who was in Parliament yesterday, has tested positive for Covid-19.

Ong said his self-test kit came back positive for Covid-19 and this was later confirmed with a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test.

“I tested negative last Wednesday in Parliament. Not sure who or where I encountered a close contact,” he said on Twitter.

Ong said he did not exhibit any symptoms and will undergo a 10-day home quarantine.
