Former president Pranab Mukherjee died on Monday. He was 84.
He was admitted to the Army's Research and Referral Hospital on Aug 10 for a brain surgery. He had also tested positive for Covid-19. Pranab served as India's 13th President from July 2012 to 2017. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna—the country’s highest civilian award—in 2019.
