How to Make and Roll Flowers With an Electric Drill

This woman shows how to make 3D flowers using paper, a Cricut machine, and an electric drill. After getting the designs online, she loaded them into a software to scale the shapes to size. Once that was and the flowers printed, she began rolling the flowers into shape using the drill and a handmade quilling tool.  "The underlying music rights are not available for license. 00:00Hi fellow DIYers! Welcome back to my channel and welcome if you're new.

00:04In this video, I'm going to show you how I made these 3D flowers,

00:08from finding the templates from Design Space to cutting and to rolling them using an electric drill.

00:13I'm also going to be using a handmade quilling tool.

00:21We're going to be doing 10 different 3D paper flowers, so let's get started!

00:26Open your Design Space app, click Images, type in 3D flowers,

00:34and then from here, you can select the flowers that you want to make.

00:42Then click Add to Canvas.

00:44And then here, as we can see, we have uploaded 10 different templates of flowers.

00:49This step is not necessary, you can skip this one.

00:52I'll make all the colors the same.

00:54Now I'm going to resize them all at once by selecting all the flowers like so.

00:59Then click Align, then click Center.

01:03Now they're all on top of each other, we can now resize them all at once.

01:08I'm gonna resize them to 6.5.

01:16I use 8.8 inches when I make 3D flowers in a shadow box.

01:28Click Make It.

01:30Now here, since I'm going to be using 8.5 by 11 cardstock,

01:34I'm going to change the material size to 8.5 by 11.

01:38And as we can see here, we have 10 different mats,

01:42and it will cut in sequence, so let's continue.

01:46Click Medium Cardstock.

01:48Then I always adjust the pressure to More whenever I cut cardstock.

01:52Then press the flashing Go button on your machine.

02:43now we all have our 10 different templates cut.

02:46We're gonna need a hot glue, electric drill, quilling tool, and a pair of disposable gloves.

02:51We need gloves because we want to prevent paper cuts from happening

02:54while rolling the papers with a drill.
