00:00 What is Sean Dyche's biggest challenge going into the pre-season?
00:11 I think his biggest challenge, to be honest, is recruitment.
00:15 Scoring goals, of course. He hasn't scored enough goals last season, but he's had enough attackers to score the goals.
00:22 Getting the players in will be his biggest challenge because we know the financial situation Everton are in.
00:30 It's difficult to go up and buy players that maybe are working in the loan market, free transfer market,
00:36 whether they can sell here and there to raise some funds.
00:40 I think Everton have got to be quite astute about it.
00:44 I think Ian Wohn, the assistant manager, said you live and die by recruitment.
00:50 If Everton don't recruit, they're going to be in another battle again.
00:55 I think no-one is expecting Everton to be top 10 team next season.
00:59 Just to be away from the relegation battle, just to come to those final games of the season with a dead rubber,
01:05 I think absolutely everyone would take that at the minute.
01:09 Recruitment for me is the biggest challenge for him.
01:12 He got it right on the pitch last season in a short time at the club.
01:16 I think Everton finished 15th under, just during his time only,
01:20 which is for what he inherited a really decent effort he made of it.
01:25 Definitely his recruitment is going to be his biggest challenge from now until the end of August.
