00:07 Hippo was injured by Hyena
00:12 In the animal kingdom, life is never easy for hippos.
00:17 Every day they face cruel enemies and threats from their surroundings.
00:21 However, the energy and determination to overcome difficulties
00:26 and wish for a better life of this species is truly admirable.
00:30 Bird vs. Hippo
00:37 More than 800 hippos have left the river in search of food on land,
00:41 where they are always in danger from the threats around them.
00:45 A family of lions takes advantage of this opportunity to earn a meal.
00:52 The hippos' incredible speed of up to 20 mph runs when being hunted,
00:57 but they still can't escape the lions.
01:00 By morning, the hippo was injured after the lion's previous attack.
01:06 Although fortunately survived, the lion's teeth and claws left heavy wounds on its body.
01:13 Now it is being attacked by birds on the scars.
01:21 What will happen to its future life?
01:24 After searching for food at night, the hippo now has a severe wound on its body.
01:38 At least when it's in the water, it can be safe.
01:45 Now it needs to rest and recover its health.
01:50 After a battle with another hippo, it has been seriously injured.
01:55 More than 20 birds are pecking at its open wounds.
02:03 It is in pain, trying to return to the water before losing too much water.
02:12 The hippo is in pain as it moves towards the water to drink.
02:17 It is injured in its leg and wounded all over its body.
02:22 It must have successfully escaped from the bloodthirsty lions.
02:28 The hippo is now in a state of deep pain.
02:35 It must have successfully escaped from the bloodthirsty lions.
02:40 Now the safest place for it is underwater.
02:48 Lion vs. Hippo
03:00 After the waterhole is exhausted, the hippopotamus has to face terrifying challenges.
03:06 It has to cope with the onslaught of ferocious predators like lions.
03:13 They started approaching to attack the hippo.
03:19 However, this giant is not weak. It is ready to fight for its life.
03:27 The hippopotamus is not afraid of lions.
03:32 Hippos and lions have been archenemies in the animal kingdom for a long time.
03:41 Hippos that venture far from their homes will have to face many dangers.
03:49 Many predators are watching them.
03:56 Being away from water sources for too long makes these giants weak.
04:02 It seems like he no longer cares about his life.
04:09 This river is the place where hippos live the most in Africa.
04:24 This particular hippo started to return to the water after a night of grazing.
04:31 It was aggressive but lacked much experience to confront the lions.
04:40 Fortunately, it safely reached the water and escaped the lions' family.
04:50 The lions are not afraid of the hippopotamus.
04:56 12 lions set out to hunt. To satisfy their hungry stomachs, they must target large prey.
05:06 They are starving and thirsty.
05:12 Lions stop to drink water in hippopotamus territory without permission.
05:19 The male lion leading the group is no match for the fierce, 10 times heavier hippo.
05:27 The male lion got stuck on a rock in the middle of the river and was chased away by an angry hippo.
05:44 The hippopotamus was not able to escape the lion.
05:50 The mother hippo had to stop her journey and became food for the lion family.
05:57 The small hippo seemed to have lost its most vital support.
06:05 It is sad to witness such painful moments.
06:12 The little hippo could do nothing to help its mother. So it wandered into the lion's den.
06:19 Being chased, it had no choice but to run into the water.
06:27 What will happen to its future life?
06:41 In the sight of the male lion was a small hippo.
06:45 The quick predator approached it.
06:49 The victim was quite cautious but lacked experience.
06:54 And it made a mistake by turning around to run away.
06:59 That triggered the lion's hunting instinct.
07:04 Being bitten caused the hippo to flail in pain.
07:10 Although the victim had not yet died, the predator chose to eat it alive.
07:16 The aggressive hippopotamus is very dangerous when anyone trespasses its territory.
07:34 Three male lions were attacked by the ferocious hippopotamus while crossing the river.
07:40 The three big cats quickly fled in fear.
07:47 Hippos are unpredictable animals and can become aggressive at any time.
08:01 This dangerous animal is something that nobody wants to mess with.
08:06 However, big predators like lions always want to push their limits and challenge themselves.
08:15 A male lion was stalking a hippopotamus.
08:28 The victim's decision to turn and run was wrong because it was still too small and inexperienced to confront the lion.
08:36 This made it easier for the big cat to attack.
08:42 The lion locked onto its tail, keeping the victim's legs trapped while working with its teammates to take down the hippopotamus successfully.
08:53 Hyena vs. Hippo
08:59 It can be said that hyenas are the most ruthless and frightening killers in the wild.
09:12 Being their prey is genuinely terrible.
09:20 Some other hippopotamus is trying to protect her offspring from the hungry pack of hyenas.
09:26 But can her courage make these hunters abandon their intentions?
09:34 No matter how strong one is, there will be a day when one must fall.
09:49 The weight of the predator combined with its fierce bites makes the giant hippopotamus almost helpless.
09:57 The hippopotamus faces off against a pack of wild dogs and hyenas.
10:14 With the overwhelming number of predators, it flees into the water.
10:19 The pack of wild dogs and hyenas devour an impala, but it is not enough for them with such small prey.
10:29 Under the water, another impala attracts the predator's attention.
10:40 They continuously try swimming into the river to lure the victim to the shore.
10:45 However, their meal is stolen by the hippopotamus.
10:52 Nature can be fierce, and sometimes it happens right before us.
11:08 Two opportunistic predators begin to eat a weak and sick hippopotamus.
11:13 They constantly attack its back, causing the victim great pain.
11:20 The hippopotamus tries to move toward the middle of the river but has to endure many difficulties.
11:33 Its incredible strength allows it to successfully get into the water and escape from the hungry hyenas.
11:40 However, they are not easily discouraged when they have such a delicious meal within reach.
11:48 Nature can be so cruel.
12:01 Rhino vs. Hippo
12:03 Let's continue with the most significant and heaviest African animals facing each other in a rare scene.
12:10 The animals have to fight over scarce vegetation.
12:16 The hippopotamus opens its mouth wide to intimidate its opponent, but it seems like it is the one who has to flee at last.
12:26 The hippopotamus is one of the highly territorial animals.
12:29 Surely you already know that the hippopotamus is one of the highly territorial animals.
12:41 It's hard for anyone to step into its territory.
12:51 The hippopotamus family was enjoying the cool water when they were disturbed by a giant.
12:56 As expected, these dangerous predators immediately asserted their dominance.
13:05 However, rhinos are not easily bullied.
13:11 Hippos are forced to share water resources.
13:17 The hippopotamus is a male.
13:19 When a dominant male hippopotamus faces a challenger for his throne, there is only one option. Fight.
13:32 The sharp tusks can penetrate through the protective layer of fat and straight into the victim's brain.
13:44 Ultimately, the incumbent re-established his mating rights with the female hippos in the herd.
13:49 This hippopotamus becomes too hot without water.
14:01 800 hippos cram into a waterhole and a grand battle breaks out.
14:12 The conflict between the two hippos is a struggle for survival and a fight to prove their strength and existence.
14:19 As the drought worsens, where will the losers' lives go?
