01:29 So, this, clearly there is a difference between, so I am very careful in using my phrases.

01:46 So I always feel, this sanctity should be maintained.
01:50 And apart from that, today even though we are talking about all our commitment towards media,
01:56 I want to highlight how the media influences the people, how the media is taking a very
02:02 important role in the political field, particularly media challenges.

02:42 It is very difficult to answer, because there are so many things which goes into it.
02:48 And as Mr. Kattakar said, I think all the credit goes to our team members.

02:57 They get feedback from the market and they are continuously trying to come up with new products
03:05 which are sustainable and that's how we could get into these boards where we are using cement,
03:13 fly ash, fly ash which is a disposable product and then some little bit of wood pulp.
03:19 So when we started off, we never thought we would grow so big.
03:24 But within two, three years, we become number one in the country now and it's a very fast-moving
03:33 product, the boards which we are currently manufacturing.

03:40 He is actually… actually you should have called him here today.

03:45 He's the guy who actually started the atom roofing where solar cells can be put and you
03:52 generate electricity along with the roof.
03:55 That is an innovative product he started and it's doing really well.
04:00 Most of our plants are able to… there's a payback period of three and a half to four
04:04 years in that product.
04:06 And now recently he also started the electric bike which is… he's selling in under the
04:12 brand name of Atom.
04:14 So I think my son has been able to form a good team and we used to get fly ash free.
04:22 But now all fly ash, I mean all electric companies, they are selling fly ash at a premium because
04:31 so much of consumption of fly ash is taking place.
04:34 This is one place I just want to… because this is a media summit, I thought it is relevant
04:39 to talk something about our media house.
04:42 We have a media house, V6 News is our channel and we have a newspaper Velugu and in this,
04:52 as I was telling you, same principle we used what we used in our building products of credibility
04:56 and ensuring that we don't bend to pressure and all.
05:01 So we have been able to become a strong media house in Telangana.
05:05 We are number one channel in Telangana and we have lot of pressure and now with the social
05:11 and digital media coming, media houses are in real trouble.
05:16 And as you said, AI is going to transform this industry, both in the media and in the
05:24 digital segment.
05:25 AI is going to play a major role because people can create images, people can create speeches
05:31 of your competitors, they can malign you, they can… there are so many challenges that
05:39 are going to come in the media business.
05:41 I hope Shankar is listening, Shankar and Bharat, because it's going to be a challenge
05:44 for everybody.
05:45 With the social media coming in, the TV and the newspaper business is taking a hit but
05:53 you know that is the way the future is going to be.
05:56 And with the AI coming in, I think getting credible information to the viewers is the
06:04 most important thing and getting correct factual information.
06:09 Because in the social media, anybody gets a thought in the night, they are able to come
06:14 up with some story in some YouTube channel and then they spread it in the digital media
06:20 and that becomes a news.
06:23 Unfortunately, the current generation also is like that.
06:26 They all want to see hot news every day, every hour they would like to see what are the…
06:32 what is the hot happening in the market.
06:34 So I think there will be big changes in the media market, media business and coping up
06:41 with these changes is going to be a challenge.
06:43 Because number of good people available in this segment are also very, very low and how
06:50 they are going to satisfy the new generation will be a big challenge for the media owners
06:58 and I think we have to learn as we go forward to see, to maintain because ultimately I always
07:05 felt when I started my business, I am actually a doctor of medicine but got into business
07:11 so for me the simple things of discipline, creating a good quality product, having credibility,
07:21 these are the things again ultimately in any business you do, there again you need to fall
07:25 back on these simple guidelines.
07:28 So I am sure the media business also will mature over a period of time where people
07:33 will start believing true facts and not what's coming on the social media because I have
07:41 to just give my personal experience.
07:44 I am currently in the BJP party.
07:47 In the last 15 days, the same social media, some platform, they said I am joining Congress.
07:57 After three days the same media said he is joining TRS.
08:03 Then another media said no, no he is getting some post in BJP.
08:07 So the credibility of the platform is getting threatened.
08:13 So I think some maturity needs to come, some regulations need to come in this media business
08:20 and as the Governor was telling today morning, please try to project this also in a proper
08:28 way because unfortunately when she was speaking, I was only thinking unfortunately the viewers
08:32 are becoming like that.
08:34 They want to see the negative part of it.
08:38 They want to see a different aspect altogether.
08:43 They don't want to see simple things and simple facts.
08:46 So I think the media house needs to find a way out on balancing what the viewer needs
08:55 because if there is no viewership then the channel doesn't work, no ads come.
08:59 So they have to keep a balance between facts, good news and bad news and still keep going
09:07 forward because people need a lot of information.
09:10 And as you know the internet has really revolutionized the knowledge and information.
09:15 You can get anything on the internet now and it's I think a big boon to most of us to be
09:22 more knowledgeable and well informed.
