00:15 The Angels, 24 to one to win this division,
00:18 and they were buying.
00:19 So get that wrapped around your head,
00:20 but let's take a look at the two top teams here.
00:23 The Astros and the Rangers,
00:24 tit for tat here at the trade deadline,
00:26 getting big names starting pitchers.
00:27 Scherzer goes to the Rangers,
00:29 Verlander goes to the Houston Astros.
00:31 Now all season long, I've been saying to myself,
00:34 like, yeah, we'll find out at the trade deadline,
00:36 but I've been liking the Texas Rangers.
00:38 Now they're a plus 115 price,
00:39 but I gotta tell you now,
00:41 the health coming back to the lineup here
00:43 for the Houston Astros,
00:44 Altuve in that leadoff spot,
00:46 Alvarez in the middle,
00:47 Abreu finally starting to hit.
00:49 That team to me, looks now better
00:52 than overall the Texas Rangers do.
00:54 I like the minus 130 price.

00:57 Angels, Rangers to win the AL West here in 2023.

01:02 I mean, 16 to one there for an Angels team.
01:05 That's really just what,
01:06 five games back of them really.
01:10 And we're not talking,
01:11 I mean, five games in a win column here.
01:12 They got 56 wins, Texas and Houston have 61.
01:16 A lot of baseball still to be played here.
01:19 And the one thing the Angels don't have
01:22 that the Texas and Houston team does,
01:25 that's pressure to perform and to win.
01:28 Now they've got expectations.
01:31 Texas has never lived up to expectations
01:34 ever as a franchise.
01:36 Houston is the one team where they have had,
01:40 they've been hated, they've been the villain,
01:42 they've been the cheaters, they've been,
01:44 they're also World Series champions.
01:47 So, you gotta give the nod to Houston there
01:51 being the favorite,
01:52 and that's kind of what they are with those odds.
01:55 But I find it interesting at 16 to one, the Angels,
01:57 are they really that far apart with five games
02:01 and a whole lot of expectations
02:04 for at least one of those teams there that's never,
02:07 this is uncharted territory for the Rangers.
