00:02 Residing in close proximity to the river,
00:15 this pride of lions calls this territory their home.
00:28 However, lurking beneath the water's surface
00:32 are hungry crocodiles,
00:35 posing a great threat to any unsuspecting creature,
00:41 including their young.
00:45 Unaware of the danger that awaits,
00:51 a curious lion cub ventures into the treacherous river,
00:58 risking its life in a move that could prove fatal.
01:01 After a brief period,
01:06 the mother lion senses the absence
01:10 of her precious offspring,
01:12 prompting her to hastily descend to the water's edge
01:18 in search of him.
01:19 Despite her desperate efforts,
01:26 (dramatic music)
01:29 her attempts to locate the cub prove fruitless.
01:32 Suddenly, the tide turns,
01:39 and the mother lion becomes the hunted,
01:43 pursued by one of the colossal crocodiles.
01:47 Struggling to escape its clutches,
01:50 she fights desperately to flee,
01:53 but her attempts prove futile.
01:55 The relentless predator seizes her in its powerful jaws,
01:59 and by a real miracle,
02:02 she succeeds in reaching the bank of the river.
02:06 But with severe damage,
02:10 it's going to be difficult for her
02:15 to be able to recover from it.
