00:25 The National Games was a success after 3 years
00:30 in the leadership of the Marikina City and the Department of Education.
00:34 But aside from this, the cooperation of several government agencies
00:39 as well as the Philippine Sports Commission,
00:41 the country's leading sponsor,
00:43 also helped in the implementation of the National Games.
00:46 At a press conference held by PSC last Friday,
00:50 Chairman Richard Bachman was pleased to be part of the National Games.
00:56 What we did this year is to provide the equipment
01:00 if they need it.
01:02 There are technical officials here to make sure
01:07 that the facility is up to speed and correct.
01:12 That's all we basically did.
01:14 Bachman also called for the commission to help
01:19 with the next implementation of the National Games.
01:22 This is my first time to experience the games.
01:25 And then the scope of work of PSC, I'm a bit nervous.
01:29 Hopefully next year I can communicate that PSC should do more
01:33 and help out more.
01:35 And maybe that's one of the areas that we can actually improve on.
01:39 Hopefully we can do more later on and get involved in all the guidelines
01:44 of all the sports and the event itself.
01:48 After the games, the Philippine National Games
01:52 and Batang Pinoy 2023 will be held in December.
