00:00 On the eve of the plane crash that costed Gerard Leclerc and two of his friends, Tuesday,
00:13 August 15, 2023, investigators fished in body swamps.
00:17 It would be according to BFM TV of the journalist and a woman.
00:26 Tuesday, August 15, 2023, as he left his vineyard in the Loire to go to the
00:32 Bôle, where his half-brother Julien Clerc must give a concert, Gerard Leclerc was the
00:36 victim of a plane crash.
00:41 The one that his entourage described as an experienced pilot had taken over a small
00:46 tourist plane with two other people on board.
00:49 They were flying with friends. They were three people on board this four-seater plane.
00:57 It happened to Gerard Leclerc to go to the coast like this.
01:04 From Loudun, it takes about an hour's flight to the Bôle.
01:12 This route does not have, to my knowledge, any particular complexity.
01:20 ", said the person in charge of the Loudun airclub, contacted by Presse Océan.
01:26 It took the plane about 14 hours to leave the radars before being found on the ground
01:34 around 7 p.m. in the town of Lavaux-sur-Loire.
01:39 Since then, the park has opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of this crash.
01:45 During the first investigations, investigators found a first body.
01:53 But here it was very difficult to find the other two bodies.
01:59 Indeed, the plane fell into deep swamps of 3 or 4 meters, his researches are made
02:08 particularly difficult because the plane was submerged several meters in a zone
02:13 subjected to very strong current, and in which visibility for divers is almost zero.
02:17 , said the parker.
02:19 The investigation continues on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, the other two bodies were finally
02:26 found, as reported by our colleagues at BFM TV.
02:32 Among the latter, that of the journalist who has long been an officer on France 2 before
02:37 joining the CNOO teams, and that of a woman.
02:40 They were driven in the hours that followed to the medical-legal institute in order to
02:47 be able to proceed with an identification.
02:49 As a reminder, Michelle Monnory, daughter of Suzanne Côté and the politician René Monnory,
02:57 was on board this plane which had a fateful fate.
03:00 According to the information of our colleagues at the AFP, the third person was a friend
03:07 of Michelle Monnory, who had agreed to accompany the duo to the ball.
