00:00 Let's talk more about the closure of the Egyptian market.
00:05 Yasser Al-Masri, a member of the Arab-African company, joins us.
00:09 Welcome to us, Mr. Yasser.
00:12 Thank you for being here.
00:13 Today, we tested important levels of the market, which are historical.
00:16 It may have tried several times to stop, but it could not.
00:21 Today, we penetrated 18,300 points, and there was a relatively good liquidity of more than 2.6 billion.
00:28 What is driving investors to reach this level?
00:32 Why did the rise differ from the previous week?
00:38 We have been moving to reach 18,150-250 points.
00:51 We said we would go back to 150 points, but we reached 150 points.
00:58 This is normal because we reached the peak in 2018, which is 18,150.
01:05 You reach the same level after five years, so it is normal.
01:12 Some people say they have to go back to the previous level.
01:15 Some people say they have to go back to the previous level.
01:21 We said that we will go back to 22,000 points after the 18,300 point break.
01:29 This is a big number, so some people say they have to go back to the previous level.
01:35 The market is divided into two parts.
01:38 One says they have reached the previous level, so they will go back to the previous level.
01:43 The other says they will start a new wave, so they will go back to the previous level.
01:49 This is what leads to the difference in tastes and goals.
01:55 Some people go out and some people enter, so we always find a confusion around this area.
02:00 Until we pass it safely, and I think we have passed it,
02:05 we will pass the 18,300 points safely, and we will go to 22,000 points.
02:10 This is the biggest possibility.
02:13 This biggest possibility is supported by many things.
02:16 What are they?
02:19 For example, if we find that people are looking to secure themselves from the exchange rate,
02:29 because there are expectations that the exchange rate may change,
02:32 so where will I go?
02:34 The gold price is going down a little bit, so people say they will go to the stock exchange
02:40 and look for the companies that are exporting.
02:43 This is what is visible or reflected in front of us.
02:46 We look at them, for example, Izza Hadeed, Abu Eir, Swedish steel, all these things,
02:55 and there are still big targets in front of them.
02:57 We can see Izza Hadeed at 54 pounds, it is currently at 48 pounds.
03:01 We can see in Sweden at 24 pounds, it is currently at 20.5 pounds.
03:05 We can see Abu Eir at 53 pounds, it is currently at 49.5 pounds.
03:08 So there are still things in front of us.
03:10 The CIP itself can reach up to 59, so there are things in front of us that push us to over 18,300.
03:18 If these things happen at 18,500 or 18,600, we will pass the point we are afraid of.
03:24 So there will be a flow and more flow of money that will lead us to 22,000.
03:29 Even now we are seeing that Bilton is the one that is issuing the list of activities,
03:34 although there are some sessions that are taking place in exchange of positions between them and other stocks, Mr. Yasser.
03:40 But today, after the end of the capital increase process, how do you see the trends of the stock market?
03:45 And what are the next levels for Bilton?
03:48 I see that Bilton is the investor that wants more than that.
03:56 People say that it has a profit per pound or a loss per pound.
04:00 Let's analyze Bilton a little.
04:02 Bilton was 2.35 pounds a month.
04:05 Now it is 3 pounds, when it went down to 35 pounds, it has a 50-60% return.
04:12 It has reached up to 4 pounds, it has reached almost double its nominal value in a month from the book.
04:19 So it has done its job as a profit per pound.
04:25 It is normal for a profit per pound to happen, it is normal for people to go out,
04:28 it is normal for someone to take the money that his capital gains has made and enter another share that has not yet been issued,
04:35 and there is a shift between it and other stocks and exchange of positions.
04:39 But as a performance, it has done its job.
04:42 There is still another level, I see that if Bilton went up to 4 pounds, it will go up to 5 pounds directly.
04:48 It will not stop much in the stock market.
04:50 If it went up to 4 pounds, it will go up to 5 pounds without stopping much at this stage.
04:54 Because there are things that are competitive around it that restrict the subject.
05:03 I cannot allow Bilton to go up to 5 pounds and Hermes to drop and split.
05:07 Hermes is a company that operates in the same activity.
05:10 The second thing is that the situation in the UAE is that there is a company that the investors have entered,
05:17 it was called Asmak, it has done 50 times more.
05:21 This is what is in the mind of the Egyptian investor.
05:24 The picture that happened before in the UAE.
05:26 Like in 2005, when the book was written in Saudi Arabia about mobile phones,
05:37 it was about mobile networks, it was the first before Orange.
05:43 It had a very successful story, so it happened exactly like it in Saudi Arabia.
05:48 The same story is now in Bilton.
05:50 The difference today is that we saw the profit quickly after the talk about the acquisition of the company for deals or offers from foreign companies to acquire 30%.
06:02 What do you think will happen to the sale of the company faster than other companies?
06:09 Mr. Yasser, since it had a history of increasing the share price in the market in offers.
06:16 It came out of the law of 203 and entered the law of 159.
06:23 This is something that made it easier to sell.
06:26 Secondly, there will be a price difference or it will not be a stable trade now because the foreigners in it are a bit different.
06:38 I am now in favor of the exchange rate, but I will leave before the exchange rate changes.
06:44 I will leave this price if the exchange rate is high, I will not lose.
06:52 I will leave now, I found a conservative view.
06:56 But how much will the price of the sale be now on this 30% share if it is not done, Mr. Yasser?
07:03 Especially since we are still below the 20 levels on the share as the market value.
07:09 I do not know the price of the sale, but I think the government wants to sell something that is higher than the level of the company.
07:25 This company was in a situation similar to the Suez Canal.
07:28 It is selling something very heavy in the country, so I think it will try to reach the highest rating it can reach.
07:38 Of course, the conditions of foreign currency pressure will affect the price.
07:44 There will be an impact on the conditions of foreign currency pressure in Egypt.
07:49 But the government will try to get out of this deal with the highest profits to solve the crisis of foreign currency.
07:58 The last question, we will be with you at the end of this week, maybe some signals from the US federal.
08:04 Today, to what extent do you think the Egyptian banks are also calculating any signals that we can see for the interest rates that may be raised in September?
08:16 This is my personal opinion, I do not know how much public opinion I have.
08:24 My personal opinion is that there will be no movement.
08:27 This is my personal opinion, that there will be no movement.
08:30 Because it is still 1% movement.
08:32 If the movement is more than that, it can stop the pace of many things in investment.
08:37 And the Egyptian banks?
08:39 I will take a number to earn a number.
08:41 With what movement?
08:42 I am talking about the Egyptian banks.
08:44 I am talking about the Egyptian banks, of course.
08:46 Yes, all that is left is the Egyptian banks, I am talking about.
08:53 I am talking about the link process, Mr. Yasser.
08:56 We are talking about the federal that is moving all the central banks in the same circle.
09:02 No, not necessarily.
09:04 Many of the federal banks moved and we did not move.
09:07 Many of the federal banks did not move and we moved.
09:09 We are not very connected.
09:11 Secondly, in general, in Egypt, the equation is a little different.
09:18 The link of interest to the stock exchange or the stock exchange.
09:22 As we said in 2018, we were at the previous peak in 2018, 18,150.
09:29 This peak was 20% interest.
09:32 And this interest rate is also 20%.
09:35 We are the opposite of the world.
09:36 When people increase interest, the market goes down.
09:39 When we increase interest, the market makes a new high.
09:43 Thank you, Mr. Yasser Al-Masri, a member of the International African Arab Company for the Translation of Financial Papers.
09:49 You were with us from Cairo. Thank you.
