00:02 One very big Major League Baseball note in case you missed it yesterday,
00:06 the New York Mets have hired David Stearns as their president of baseball operations.
00:11 Also Matt Olsen and the Braves keep swinging 51 home runs.
00:14 They can clinch the NLEs tonight.
00:16 The Los Angeles Dodgers have called up Kyle Hurt from the minor leagues to help them out,
00:20 and they're starting and relief pitching staff.
00:22 He struck out a ton of batters this year in AAA for the Dodgers.
00:25 And also Max Scherzer is gonna have an MRI on his right triceps
00:30 to determine the severity of an injury that he suffered.
00:33 Of course, Texas Rangers will definitely need him and all hands on deck for the postseason.
00:37 We'll see if that is indeed the case for
00:39 the Rangers as they get ready for the last couple of weeks of the season.
