00:24 To ensure the continued implementation of government programs, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged the Congress to approve the General Appropriations Bill for the next year.
00:36 In fact, the 2024 General Appropriations Bill was certified as urgent by the Executive Board.
00:43 According to the President, the General Appropriations Bill should be approved for the next year to speed up the implementation of government programs and to strengthen the budgetary preparedness for the government to make its mandate under the Constitution.
00:59 In addition, the President also certified the Senate Bill No. 2432 as urgent, which would create a heavier punishment for all agricultural economic sabotage.
