09:10 - Yeah, what I will say is that
09:25 we all know that Keta is below sea level
09:28 and as we are speaking, the tidal waves is disturbing us.
09:33 The lagoon too because of the split of Akosobo Dam
09:38 as we are speaking now, the lagoon is also getting flooded,
09:42 people's homes are flooded along the area.
09:47 So what I just want to say to my people,
09:50 especially those at the beach side,
09:53 that they should be very cautious.
09:56 Mostly when it happens like this or it starts like this,
09:59 in the afternoon it gets worse.
10:02 So I pray and I appeal to all of them
10:05 that if they have some relatives,
10:08 they should relocate to their relatives for now
10:12 or if the situation gets worse,
10:16 they can call our attention
10:18 and we'll find a place for them or shelter for them
10:22 where they can be for a meantime.

13:34 and it's been a very interesting discussions, interactions.
13:40 They've taken us through what they do.
13:44 We've toured their facilities
13:47 and I think that I'm happy to be part of this history.
13:52 We are all very, very excited about what we have seen.
13:56 We only encourage them that we think that they can do
14:00 more than they are doing, but so far so good.
14:03 They've done so well.
14:05 I think they've had great impact
14:07 on the health sector of this country.
14:09 - The government has done this for years
14:11 and we must acknowledge it.
14:13 We only see we could even do more
14:17 when you look at the opportunities
14:19 that are available to government.
14:22 I'd like to express this and to ask for some support
14:26 in terms of infrastructure for this institution.
14:29 The hospital is doing a lot more
14:31 than its physical infrastructure can accommodate.
14:35 The reality as you've walked around, you can see
14:38 everywhere is full, even that we came at the 2 p.m.
14:41 when normally a lot of our patients should be going home.
14:45 This hospital and all that we consume,
14:48 on average, every month we have built 170,000 gyms.
14:55 If you look at the rate of increase
14:58 in terms of emergency care, it's far, far, far below
15:02 the rate of review in terms of NHI in Africa.
15:06 This is a terrible challenge.
15:10 - Because of the excellent care they give around this area,
15:14 people from far and near come to get services from here.
15:19 It is incumbent on government to help them
15:21 to expand the infrastructure they have here.
15:23 More importantly, they should also provide equipment
15:26 because if you have qualified personnel,
15:29 what you need to do is to give them all the equipment
15:32 they need to deliver quality service.
15:35 So I think that government should come in handy
15:38 to provide what they need, to provide excellent service
15:41 for the people in this area and then far.
15:44 - Yes, we agree that this hospital needs to be developed.
15:47 We agree that this hospital needs more infrastructure and facilities.
15:51 But the government program for Agenda 111
15:54 is to enable other constituencies in the district to also benefit
15:59 so we can spread health care services.
16:01 It's very important. We know that.

16:24 - In the years to come, this hospital will serve as a hub
16:30 for cutting-edge medical research,
16:32 a training ground for future health care professionals,
16:34 and a place where lives are saved and transformed.
16:38 It will offer quality health care to our students, faculty and staff,
16:42 ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
16:45 Moreover, it will reach out beyond our campus walls
16:49 to provide vital medical services to our local community,
16:53 bridging the gap in the health care accessibility
16:56 and contributing to the overall betterment of society.
16:59 - Whenever there is an attempt to bring up a health facility,
17:05 then you consider the people coming with the idea
17:09 as bringing life to the people around.
17:13 We know that Ghana has registered to attain
17:17 the universal health coverage based on two prompts.
17:22 And this edifice here is being provided
17:26 to really create access for us
17:30 and also to enable us Ghana ourselves
17:34 towards the universal health coverage
17:37 that we seek so much to attain.
17:39 - Ghana Gas is a national asset.
17:42 And wherever our product reaches,
17:45 CSR project must also get to that enclave.
17:49 When you look at the community, the institution,
17:53 health facility is something that is dear to their heart.
17:57 And if Ghana Gas come to their aid of providing
18:01 two-handed bed hospital facility,
18:06 it's not just a joke.
18:08 I believe institution as you know
18:10 will never let this facility go by.
18:14 I believe the Ghana Health Service
18:17 will also not sit and let this facility deteriorate.

24:26 We have struggled all over these years.
24:29 If we look into our present world global economics today
24:33 and politics, we see that the EU
24:36 had the concept of Kwame Nkrumah's AU.
24:39 A one currency, a trade amongst ourselves.
24:42 But it has never come to pass.
24:44 How have we honored Kwame Nkrumah as a nation?
24:48 How have we looked after his legacy?
24:52 What would Kwame Nkrumah have done
24:54 in this economic doldrums that we are in?
24:57 Kwame Nkrumah would have done it differently.
24:59 Kwame Nkrumah under the CPP
25:01 would have been more prudent than we are today.
25:04 Kwame Nkrumah under the CPP would have industrialized more,
25:08 created more jobs for our youth.
25:11 Kwame Nkrumah, if he was alive today and leading us,
25:15 would have created a better healthcare.
