00:17 Our workshops are carried out as part of a project,
00:21 which we obtained external funds from the "Nowe Fijo" program, the National Fund for Citizens' Initiatives.
00:31 The project we are currently implementing is a very large project,
00:35 which was chosen as the best project in Poland.
00:39 Its title is "Living safely in the Silesian Oborniki and Trzebińskie Poblisko"
00:44 The workshops are available to all residents from all over the Trzebińskie Poblisko.
00:49 We are organizing 15 workshops in the Silesian Oborniki, which have applied to our program.
00:55 And in the nine Silesian Oborniki, which have developed the best security improvement strategies,
01:02 defibrillators will be installed in public places until the end of the year,
01:07 so that each of the residents and people who pass through the town can provide assistance in a situation of danger.
01:17 First of all, we learn the first aid, the correct approach to the injured person,
01:21 taking care of your own safety, how to examine the injured person,
01:24 i.e. we will do a respiratory examination, check if he is breathing.
01:27 If he is not breathing, we start, as you can see here, residents are doing a respiratory resuscitation.
01:33 And what is most important, we learn the correct chain of life
01:37 and the time for the medical rescue team to arrive at the scene of the incident.
01:42 We give the injured person the greatest chance of saving his life.
01:46 As you have seen, it is not difficult, it is even, I will say, childishly simple.
01:51 All you have to do is just press the chest.
01:54 We are dealing with first aid everywhere in our lives,
01:57 you just have to remember how to proceed in a cyclical manner.
02:01 Residents of the village, as I remember well, about 3-4 years ago, also from the Trzewnicki County,
02:07 also had the opportunity to meet me and train with first aid,
02:12 and this is one of the things, this knowledge must be regularly assimilated and remembered.
02:16 Today we learned, we did a short lecture about first aid,
02:21 then we moved on to the practical part,
02:24 i.e. we learned the safe approach to the injured person, life control,
02:28 we learned the safe position, proceeding in the case of a seizure,
02:31 and also respiratory resuscitation using the AED defibrillator.
02:37 We are in one of the towns that will receive the AED defibrillator for free,
02:42 which is a device that, using electric current,
02:45 interrupts the wrong work of the heart muscle, and here it will be really safe.
02:49 The device will be widely available, if I'm not mistaken, it will be hanging on the church,
02:54 i.e. where it is most common, it is also in the middle of the village,
02:58 and there is the most common, so to speak, large number of residents or elderly people,
