00:00 Hello, Rafe Blackburn, National Wales Politics Editor here outside Parliament on what has
00:05 been a momentous and slightly crazy day in Westminster. Rishi Sunak is carrying out his
00:11 Cabinet reshuffle. He sacked Suella Braflin after her unauthorised op-ed last week and
00:17 the Foreign Secretary James Cleverley has replaced her in the Home Office. But the real
00:23 bombshell news from here in Westminster is that former Prime Minister David Cameron will
00:29 replace Cleverley as Foreign Secretary. He'll be made a peer into the House of Lords and
00:35 then take on one of the four great officers of state in a move that no one here in SW1
00:41 saw coming. It's a bold move from Rishi Sunak. It's surprising, I would say, given only a
00:49 month ago he decried 30 years of politics previous to him as being about short-term
00:56 gain over long-term decisions. But after all that, he's bringing back David Cameron in
01:02 after seven years in the wilderness back into politics. So we'll see what that means going
01:07 forward.
