00:00 My name is Lewis Berger. I'm 92 and I'd like to tell you something of my health background
00:12 because I know that my doctors can't understand how it is that at the age of 92 I can run,
00:23 I can jump, I enjoy Kung Fu and Tai Chi. When I was 50 I found myself in trouble. I had
00:36 been very active as a teacher, I taught games etc. I left school and I found myself clients
00:50 and I began sitting down and suddenly I found I seemed to be ill and I realised I was missing
01:02 the games but then I was running around a lot as a referee in rugby matches and training
01:14 kids but I was getting a bit old for that. By accident I found myself watching something
01:23 which I'd never heard of before called Tai Chi and I don't know why it was, it seemed
01:29 curious, they move slowly and yet somehow it seemed powerful. Anyway to cut a long story
01:38 short I joined the club and I became a bit of a fanatic at it. I wasn't good at it,
01:48 I wasn't naturally good. I was a bit tense, I needed to be able to really really relax
01:57 and it took me time. I had discovered that if I needed medicine I didn't need to take
02:06 drugs which I felt they did cure me but I felt that they were not good in the long run
02:14 and I was introduced to the world of herbal medicine. And so here I am years later, I
02:21 started at 50 and now 90. I'm not saying that everyone would be the same, people are
02:29 different and that's one of the things that I love about the Tai Chi and the herbal medicine
02:36 and that is it's for yourself as an individual. The doctors cure the disease, the herbal people
02:51 and the Tai Chi people build up your strength and your body fights the disease and that's
03:02 what I like.
