00:00 Here today, perfect weather in Monaco.
00:04 So we expect a high flying matchup between these two sides.
00:09 Let's take a look at the starting line-up beginning.
00:10 Both Monaco and Rous got off to winning starts in 2024.
00:18 Teddy Termo with a clever switch of play.
00:28 Atonga comes back, shot on here.
00:30 Golovkin.
00:33 Whipped over by Aklyuch into the arms of Diouf.
00:40 And now Benyetta.
00:44 He'll get there as well with Sam Benyetta.
00:46 He's being tracked by Okumu.
00:48 Benyetta in field.
00:50 What a wrap!
00:51 Well played by Okumu,
00:53 got back and was tenacious
00:56 by a Rous player, but Rous have it.
00:58 Khadra to Diakon.
01:00 Diakon.
01:04 Direct running from the 18-year-old.
01:07 His cross is easy.
01:08 Touched off by Atonga.
01:13 Shot coming in from Zacario,
01:15 wasn't quite in position.
01:17 And now Fofana.
01:19 France International could add a moment of quality.
01:23 He's done exactly that.
01:24 Ouattara with the chance.
01:26 And it's a good start from Diouf.
01:28 Space now for Benyetta.
01:33 With Sam Benyetta.
01:35 For Golovkin.
01:35 Golovkin's shot over the top.
01:37 Oh, Aklyuch has won it.
01:49 Aklyuch, will he go all the way?
01:52 Agbedou sliding in.
01:55 For Aklyuch.
01:56 Monaco streaming forward again.
01:58 Van der Sar.
02:00 Golovkin.
02:01 Van der Sar.
02:02 They ran out of space.
02:05 This is Ouattara.
02:10 In the clear.
02:12 Ouattara's cut back,
02:13 doesn't beat the man at the near post 4K.
02:16 Now, suddenly Rous have possibilities.
02:19 Teritama.
02:20 That's a good ball.
02:21 Darami now.
02:22 Back to Teritama.
02:23 Shot on Furtaba.
02:25 What a strike.
02:26 Wearing the captain's armband.
02:31 In the absence of Abdelhamid,
02:33 Teritama steps up to the plate.
02:36 And gives Rous the lead with an absolutely beautiful strike.
02:40 Playing in France's top tier for the first time this season
02:46 at the age of 30.
02:48 And he has looked very much at home.
02:50 What about that for a finish?
02:51 Involved in the build-up.
02:53 And then Darami just...
02:55 playing a really inviting pass to the Malta international.
03:00 And it is a super finish.
03:07 It is Monaco 0-1.
03:09 From the back as Golovkin stands over this free kick.
03:16 Golovkin's delivery is...
03:20 good flick and Kadra's in the clear here.
03:24 Lacks support.
03:25 Diakon trying to get into the middle.
03:26 Kadra crossing.
03:27 And the referee blows the whistle for half-time.
03:34 Teritama's rocket in the 35th minute.
03:39 The difference as Wembs lead Monaco by one goal to nil.
03:43 Don't go anywhere.
03:44 We'll recap all the action from the opening half after the break.
03:50 So 45 minutes left then for Monaco to salvage
03:53 at the very least a draw from this game.
03:55 Mata running past his man.
03:58 Golovkin in the box now.
04:01 Alexander Golovkin.
04:02 It's in.
04:03 Golovkin...
04:05 gets Monaco level courtesy of a deflection.
04:11 And it's the perfect start to the second half for AS Monaco.
04:18 Golovkin with his sixth league goal this season.
04:21 With the cross that was half-blocked.
04:23 Oh no, it's Ben Yedder.
04:29 It's not a deflection, it's a Ben Yedder header.
04:32 Beautifully guided into the net.
04:34 It's Ben Yedder's goal, his ninth of the campaign.
04:38 Zakaria...
04:42 can he get it over? Not quite.
04:46 Forward from the Belgian.
04:48 Nice play by Kadra.
04:50 Kadra into the penalty area.
04:53 Still going Kadra.
04:54 Still going!
04:56 Reda Kadra!
04:58 With an extraordinary goal.
05:01 Rousa back in front here in the printability.
05:04 Well, it probably should have stopped him,
05:09 but the Monaco defenders could not stop the 22-year-old German.
05:15 And his determination as well as his skill reward him.
05:18 Well, initially up against Maripan.
05:24 Beautiful flick from Kadra.
05:26 Leaves Maripan for dead.
05:29 Magasser comes across.
05:31 Neither of the central defenders can stop him though.
05:35 Great skills at the start of the move to get clear of Maripan.
05:43 It's his first goal in French football.
05:46 One to remember for Reda Kadra.
05:49 Rousa coming forward again.
05:54 This is Dharami.
05:58 Dharami.
06:02 Dharami's cut back, cleared by Zakaria.
06:05 Oh, and a mistake from Magasser.
06:07 Kadra is in again.
06:09 Reda Kadra for three!
06:10 Saved this time by Koon.
06:13 Kadra.
06:14 Kadra helping it on.
06:17 And now through the middle Salah.
06:19 Couldn't quite keep control of the ball.
06:22 Salah.
06:25 Well played for Dharami.
06:28 Mohamed Dharami with the shot.
06:32 It's van der Zandt.
06:36 Oh, the header!
06:40 Not a bad attempt.
06:42 Dharami.
06:43 Dharami's given van der Zandt a torrid afternoon.
06:48 Teddy Tumma to take the corner.
06:51 Shot on here.
06:59 Oh, and Kerry nearly fell to a Ramos player.
07:03 Can he repeat the feat here?
07:06 Golovine over the top.
07:08 It's another wasted opportunity.
07:11 Salah.
07:12 Teddy Tumma.
07:15 He'll have another go!
07:16 It's deflected wide.
07:18 Counter-attack.
07:19 Here's Balogun.
07:22 Three up with following Balogun here.
07:25 Balogun's crossed towards...
07:31 Ball over the top.
07:35 One to chase for Bouadou.
07:36 The keeper's come.
07:37 Diuf has done really well.
07:40 Again, well defended by Ramos.
07:41 And again, the ball over the top.
07:43 This time, the keeper's come out.
07:46 And Bojang.
07:47 Helped on by Maripan.
07:49 It's all very, very chaotic from a Monaco perspective.
07:53 Benyadou, though, finds Bouadou.
07:55 Myron Bouadou.
07:56 Still going.
07:58 Falls over.
07:59 Tackled by van der Zandt.
08:02 Van der Zandt again.
08:04 And now Balogun.
08:06 Balogun's shot.
08:08 Goal!
08:09 Now, Ramos can get a third.
08:15 Oh, they have done!
08:17 What a super finish!
08:19 And what a result here for Stade de Ramos.
08:23 It's Matu Siwa who puts the cherry on the cake for Will Stillsman.
08:29 And they begin 2024 with a stunning victory.
08:35 Goal!
08:36 Goal!
08:37 Goal!
08:38 Goal!
08:39 And they have also shown Monaco how to finish.
08:43 Wilson S. Brand involved, linking up with Matu Siwa.
08:48 Still so much to do for the Dutchman.
08:51 It's a really good finish.
08:54 Certainly if he meant it with the outside of his left foot, it's a great finish.
08:57 And I think he did.
09:04 Look what it means to Will Still.
09:06 Back to the drawing board then for Monaco.
09:15 Dribbly at the back.
09:16 It's all over here.
09:18 Yes!
09:31 An absolute disaster for Monaco at home.
