King Charles' message to the Boys Brigade

Aberdeenshire Lord Lieutenant Sandy Manson reads the message from King Charles which is being carried in a baton around the north-east as part of the 140th anniversary of the Boys Brigade.  He met up with members of the Turriff Company on Saturday morning as they carried out their section of the relay which sees the baton start its journey at Braemar last year and end up in Orkney in the coming months.

00:41 Please convey my warmest congratulations to the members of the North of Scotland Boys Brigade on the occasion of the organisation's 140th anniversary which is being celebrated today at the Braemar Gathering in the Duke of Fife Memorial Park.

01:01 I was pleased to be reminded of this remarkable milestone and that the Boys Brigade continues to provide such valuable opportunities for young people.
