00:03 I think the biggest myth on health insurance
00:12 or any insurance I see is that insurance companies don't
00:15 pay claims, which actually I find very fascinating.
00:20 Because if I look at the data, then a huge amount of claims
00:26 is getting paid.
00:27 And if I look at the issue in terms of the rejection
00:34 or grievance ratio, it is still among the least
00:36 in the entire financial world.
00:38 Or even you look at e-commerce and other places.
00:41 But still, the feeling is there.
00:42 And maybe it is so because of the process in which the claim
00:47 gets paid is what would create this friction.
00:51 And that is what has to be worked upon.
00:54 But I can very confidently say that a huge amount of claims
00:58 get paid.
00:59 In fact, in COVID time, 43 crore of claims
01:02 were paid for COVID only.
01:04 And COVID happened.
01:05 And the industry stood by it.
01:06 Across the world, I think a lot of companies
01:08 said COVID is not covered.
01:10 But in India, the industry stood by and paid all the claims.
01:13 And they did not even ask the government for any support.
01:16 So that is the biggest myth as for me to begin with.
