00:00 Hi, my name is Rahim and I'm an ice cream from Chorley.
00:04 I run Martins Whippy, also known as North West Whippy.
00:08 I work closely with nurseries, schools and nursing homes, both in Chorley and in Wigan.
00:14 I use locally sourced Fredericks ice cream, which I'm very proud of, it's an amazing ice cream.
00:20 And I have been nominated for a very prestigious award for Mobiler of the Year.
00:27 These awards are hosted by the ICA, which is a trade association, and it's very difficult to be nominated.
00:35 I'm lucky enough to be nominated two years in a row.
00:38 Last year I became a runner-up, this year I'm in the final three.
00:42 I hope I can bring the Oscars of the ice cream industry to Lancashire.
00:48 I work closely with Dairy in House, which I fully support the work they do.
00:54 I sponsor two football teams, a boys and a girls football team.
00:58 And I've just finished sponsoring a youth rugby team as well.
01:04 I am passionate about what I do, I've been in the industry for over ten years.
01:09 I hope to be in for another ten years at least.
01:13 And I look forward to the award night in February, so hopefully I can bring the trophy back.
