00:05 360-degree view at Malatine Travel Museum
00:10 is located in the beautiful Manila Clock Tower.
00:13 Let's go there with Bona Kino.
00:15 Iconic and historical,
00:20 that is the Manila Clock Tower in the city of Manila.
00:23 It was built in the 1930s with the Manila City Hall
00:27 and designed by architect Antonio Toledo.
00:30 It's almost 100 feet high,
00:32 with four clock faces
00:33 facing Intramuros, Bonifacio Shrine,
00:37 Rizal Park, and Palacio ng Malacanang.
00:39 But it's not just a time-saver,
00:42 because you can also climb the tower's top
00:45 after 200 steps.
00:48 It's expensive to climb to reach the Manila Clock Tower
00:52 but it's worth it because when you reach the top,
00:55 you'll see the beautiful 360-degree view of Manila.
01:00 It's so beautiful.
01:01 It also has historical value.
01:04 As Manilenos, we were born here.
01:06 We're proud.
01:07 We're from the province.
01:08 We decided to visit here
01:11 because it's history
01:13 and the beautiful view from the top.
01:15 The Manila Clock Tower is also a museum.
01:18 This is a sign.
01:20 The clock tower
01:21 is that Manila has to be resilient
01:24 and also to further promote
01:27 the culture and heritage of the Manilenos.
01:29 On the first two floors,
01:31 you'll see displays about the bombing of Manila,
01:34 vintage explosives,
01:35 and mortar cartridges
01:37 that were used during World War II.
01:39 And now, National Arts Month,
01:41 various works of artists are exhibited here,
01:45 like National Artist Abdul Mari Imao
01:48 and Presidential Merit Awardee Ramon Orlina.
01:52 It's open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
01:55 Tuesday to Friday.
01:57 Before you go,
01:58 schedule your visit to their official social media page.
