00:09 (Music)
00:12 Sir, yes. I have lost 8 kgs to that role.
00:16 When I heard this story, I felt that
00:21 when we are in the movie industry, it is a very difficult period.
00:26 It is very difficult to accept us.
00:28 In today's world, after Dussehra,
00:31 there are many scripts and movies being made.
00:34 That is a different story.
00:35 But we have believed in ourselves at that time.
00:37 We believed in ourselves and believed that
00:39 we can give this role to him and
00:41 we can put so much money on this movie.
00:43 That gives us a lot of strength and also gives us fear.
00:46 So, I was very dedicated.
00:47 I was so scared of not doing it.
00:50 I was not sure if I could do this role or not.
00:53 So, I have lost 8 kgs to this role.
00:56 I have observed how a 17 year old boy is like.
01:01 I have observed it very carefully.
01:03 I have sat with the director and discussed it with him.
01:06 I have done rehearsals with my teacher, Usha madam.
01:08 She has helped me a lot to do this role.
01:10 So, I have prepared myself to do this role.
01:13 I had to do a role that gives darkness.
01:19 I had to do a role that gives fitness.
01:21 I had to do a role that makes me feel like I am back in college.
01:25 I had to do a 10 kgs of weight loss again.
01:27 I had to do it again and again.
01:29 I had to do it again and again.
01:31 I had to shoot it again.
01:33 I had to eat only one portion of food.
01:35 I had to eat only one portion of food.
01:37 I had to eat only one portion of food.
01:39 I had to eat samosas and other food.
01:41 I had to do it again.
01:43 I have done a lot of work.
01:46 It is very important.
01:52 It is very important for me and for all of us.
01:57 Because, if this film is successful,
02:01 people will start investing in new films.
02:06 If that doesn't happen,
02:08 people will start asking questions.
02:10 Will it happen? Will it not happen?
02:12 I always tell my creators that
02:15 when I watch this film,
02:18 I feel like I am a relative of the person who made this film.
02:23 Because, I have introduced a new art form to people.
02:28 I can make a film as a role.
02:30 But, this film has three shades.
02:33 It is a travel journey.
02:35 You don't get that in all the other art forms.
02:37 I have found that.
02:39 I have tried my best to make the role I am comfortable with.
02:45 I want to tell you how I felt when it was released on the 16th.
02:49 I want to tell you about the Covid time.
02:59 During the second wave of Covid.
03:03 The third wave.
03:05 Everyone was scared.
03:08 We were all thinking about how to get out of it.
03:13 But, we had this sequence.
03:15 We were mentally ready.
03:17 We were going to shoot.
03:19 We were going to shoot.
03:21 We were ready to do anything.
03:23 We were ready to shoot.
03:25 I had a separate bed.
03:27 I had told my family to make it separate.
03:30 I could do anything I wanted.
03:32 I could ask for help.
03:34 I had a room on the terrace.
03:37 I could sleep there.
03:39 It was prepared like this.
03:41 I had told this to Santu sir.
03:43 I had told him that I had interviewed him.
03:45 I had told him that I had read it everywhere.
03:47 When you have so much money,
03:49 you can put in a small amount of film.
03:51 That's a different story.
03:53 But, we have limited resources.
03:58 We can't do it all at once.
04:01 What can we do if we have that option?
04:03 Because, the script is demanding.
04:06 We need to make an impact.
04:09 It is demanding in the script's journey.
04:12 We can't do it all at once.
04:15 So, we decided to shoot in a public toilet.
04:18 I can see the screen.
04:20 But, there were other technicians there.
04:23 They were there.
04:25 None of them wanted to do it.
04:27 Even if we had asked the cameraman,
04:29 they wouldn't have agreed.
04:31 Even if we had asked someone,
04:33 they wouldn't have agreed.
04:35 Everyone wanted to do it.
04:37 But, the script was demanding.
04:39 Everyone wanted to do it.
04:41 And, the director was demanding.
04:43 We had seen the rushes.
04:45 We had seen the rushes.
04:47 We had seen the rushes.
04:49 We had seen the rushes.
04:51 We had seen the rushes.
04:53 We had seen the rushes.
04:55 I feel that we have succeeded in doing it.
04:59 I feel that we have succeeded in doing it.
05:01 How long did it take you to shoot?
05:03 How long did it take you to shoot?
05:05 We shot for two years.
05:07 We shot for two years.
05:09 There were many changeovers.
05:11 There were many changeovers.
05:13 We had to do the character for a while.
05:15 We had to do the character for a while.
05:17 We had to do the character for a while.
05:19 We had to do the character for a while.
05:21 We had to do the character for a while.
05:23 We had to do the character for a while.
05:25 We had to do the character for a while.
05:27 We had to do the character for a while.
05:29 We had to do the character for a while.
05:31 We had to do the character for a while.
05:33 We had to do the character for a while.
05:35 We had to do the character for a while.
05:37 We had to do the character for a while.
05:39 We had to do the character for a while.
05:41 We had to do the character for a while.
05:43 We had to do the character for a while.
05:45 We had to do the character for a while.
05:47 We had to do the character for a while.
05:49 We had to do the character for a while.
05:51 We had to do the character for a while.
05:53 We had to do the character for a while.
05:55 We had to do the character for a while.
05:57 We had to do the character for a while.
05:59 We had to do the character for a while.
06:01 We had to do the character for a while.
06:03 We had to do the character for a while.
06:05 We had to do the character for a while.
06:07 We had to do the character for a while.
06:09 We had to do the character for a while.
06:11 We had to do the character for a while.
06:13 We had to do the character for a while.
06:15 We had to do the character for a while.
06:17 We had to do the character for a while.
06:19 We had to do the character for a while.
06:21 We had to do the character for a while.
06:23 We had to do the character for a while.
06:25 We had to do the character for a while.
06:27 We had to do the character for a while.
06:29 this around.
